HAPPEN (Primary School Health Survey)

Overview
A primary school network which surveys education, health and wellbeing.
Description
A survey of children in years 4, 5 and 6 which provides insight into physical, psychological, emotional, and social health. HAPPEN encourages schools to conduct the survey as part of health education to help pupils learn and make informed choices about their health. Schools that complete the survey receive a report on the data they provide to guide their priorities, inform their curriculum, and develop health interventions. Individual-level and place-based data is primarily accessible through the SAIL databank, but ad hoc access to anonymized data may be possible by contacting the PI, Michaela James, or Emily Marchant. HAPPEN is a network that can be joined for free.
